Dave Elder Takes on Industry Leadership Roles Dave Elder, Director of Pacific Financial’s Homebuilder Division, was installed on November 14, 2006 as the 2007 2nd Vice President of the Sales & Marketing Council Los Angeles / Ventura, part of the Building Industry Association of Southern California. He was also appointed as the 2007 Vice President for HomeAid Los Angeles / Ventura. “Serving on both of these boards has been a tremendous experience, and I appreciate the confidence of my colleagues in allowing me to continue my service,” Elder commented. He has served on each of the boards for the past two years. “The SMC has provided me with the opportunity to directly serve the industry that keeps our company going, and to meet some incredible individuals with whom I continue to do business,” he continues, “and HomeAid is simply my way of giving back to the community, while staying under the homebuilding umbrella. Our industry does some great things, not the least of which is leveraging our collective influence to help those most in need.” Elder is a relative newcomer to the industry,
but has risen to challenge of staying involved in industry organizations
while continuing to expand the reach of Pacific Financial’s
Homebuilder Division. Pacific Financial provides take out lending
services to homebuilders throughout California, and has a long history
of helping builders move inventory using financing as a marketing
tool. Pacific Financial
maintains a seat on the Board of Directors for the Sales and Marketing
Council of the BIA, providing education and networking opportunities
for it’s members. |
