Dave Elder selected for ELAN's President Award Dave Elder, Business Development Manager for Pacific Financial, was recognized on October 29th by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Building Industry Association. The Council serves Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and Kern Counties, and recognizes leaders in the industry at their annual Elan awards gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Elder accepted the President’s Award before a group of 400 colleagues, and has quickly distinguished himself as an industry leader. The award is presented to the individual who lives the values of the council, which include fostering increased knowledge, supporting the business of fellow members, and promoting excellence among industry professionals involved in the sales and marketing of new homes throughout Southern California. One should note that this is Elder’s first year serving on the Board of Directors. During his acceptance, Elder expressed his commitment to the council and the industry. “Serving on this council has been the highlight of my year. Sure it’s been a lot of work, but the relationships I have developed, and the help I have received, have more than given back to me the time I have committed.” Besides,” he professed, “nothing worth having ever comes without effort.” During his participation on the council in 2005, membership grew over 300%, and the programs delivered to the membership attracted attendees from across Southern California. oversees the Homebuilder Division for Pacific Financial, which currently
serves new home builders in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Bakersfield.
